I run a hundred miles per hour

to try and stay in place

there's no-one telling me to run

or how to win this race

I don't think there's a finish line

I don't think I can stop

the only thing that I can do

is run until I drop

but running is the part of me

that wants to never end

so I'll keep going nowhere

until I can start again
